Richard Musal Bio

Richard Musal has been working in the Information Technology field for the last 15 years.  Richard started out as a Graduate Assistant working for the Transforming Instruction Through Technology And Networking (TITAN) Grant at Manhattan College in the year 2000.  By the end of the grant in the year 2003 he had been promoted to Senior Technology Trainer.  In 2003 he was hired by Manhattan College to run the newly formed Jasper Educational Technology (JET) office as the Coordinator of Technology & Training.  In 2011 Richard was promoted to Assistant Director of Client Services & Operations for the newly reorganized Information Technology Services (ITS) department.

Through the years Richard has developed his leadership and problem solving skills.  He is credited with setting up and deploying the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) & Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system that the ITS department currently uses.  He is also credited with restructuring the Client Services and Operations divisions of ITS and working with his team to improve customer satisfaction.

Richard is now starting his Capstone Consulting course under the tutelage of Donna Murdoch.  This blog will follow his journey through this class.
